MOVIE NIGHT!
Wednesday, May 8th, 7-8:30pm
Art Therapist Sharon Sanborn will be screening her 30-minute documentary, "Art Saves Lives Stories." Sharon interviews four Washington artists who inspire and inform us about how they find visual art-making to be helpful, calming, healing, therapeutic and fun. Following the film, we’ll create together, so please have materials nearby. Join us via Zoom: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/81812879390
As an Art Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Online Educator, Sharon has had the pleasure of sharing her interest in the healing power of creativity and art-making with her clients and students for over 30 years. She says, “Perhaps not a cure-all, exploring with paint, collage, photos and videos often calms and grounds me. It is fun and brings me more awareness, clarity and healing in my life. I love hearing other peoples’ stories about what sparks anything similar in them”. For more about Sharon, visit her website: www.EmotionalWisdomTools.com
